Wallpaper Installation
Your home is usually ready for the wallpaper installation after the home has had all of the mechanical trims completed (hvac grills, electrical trims, etc) and all of the necessary sheetrock repairs have been made. It is then time for the wallpaper installation. Typically, you or your designer will be responsible for providing the wallpaper, however sometimes the wallpaper contractor will also supply this material.
For the wallpaper installation, the paperhanger scrapes the walls, does any necessary prepping or priming to the walls, coats the paper with glue, applies it on the wall doing any cutting or pattern matching necessary. After the completion of the wallpaper installation the paperhanger cleans glue off walls, tile or wood flooring, doors, etc. The excess wallpaper material should be placed in the appropriate trash pile or should leave the job site with the wallpaper contractor. Any large pieces of scrap material should be left in the homes attic for future repairs.
